Founded by Abhishek Sharma, Studio Ek Inch is rooted in years of working closely with artisans, workshops, export houses, and craft communities across India. The studio was born from a deep respect for craftsmanship, material honesty, and the belief that design should feel timeless rather than temporary.
Our approach is minimal, functional, and emotionally grounded. We are inspired by Indian Culture and Traditions, and the objects people carry closest to themselves. Every collection reflects these observations through thoughtful details, natural materials, and refined construction.
Our Name
The name Ek Inch comes from something very ordinary, yet deeply important in our daily life.
While making bags, patterns, samples, and adjusting hardware placements, the word "inch" becomes part of everyday conversation inside the workshop. It is spoken countless times throughout the day — while measuring, refining, correcting, and perfecting details.
In Hindi, "one inch" becomes Ek Inch.
Over time, we realised how much a single inch matters. Even the smallest imbalance in measurement can completely change the outcome of a product. That understanding became the foundation of the brand.
For us, Ek Inch represents precision, patience, and the idea that true perfection often lives in the smallest details.
